Bulk Pick-Up 

Bulk items will be picked up once per month during the first FULL week of each month on your regular trash day. Bulk will be limited to four items per pick-up. If you have more than four items or you need bulk pick up on a day that is not your regularly scheduled day, you can call to schedule a special pick up for a fee. Call 216-691-7300 to arrange your special pick up or fill out the Bulk Pickup Request Form.

Services Provided

The Division of Refuse/Recycling provides curbside collection of solid waste, recycling materials and yard waste for approximately 15,500 homes, schools, religious institutions, day care centers, condominiums and 211 apartment buildings weekly. 

Transfer Station

All solid waste is transported to the transfer station, where it is compacted into transfer trailers and transported to landfills.

Proper Containment

Keep the plastic bags filled with garbage in trash carts with secure lids until the evening before your pickup day or no later than 7:00 am on your pickup day.

When to Curb Your Trash

Do not put the carts out before 7:00 pm the evening before your collection day or before 7:00 am on the day of your collection.

Where to Curb Your Trash

Refuse and Recycling carts should be placed on the curb 3 feet apart. Wheels should be facing your home.  Please do not place trash on top of or around the cart. All trash must be bagged.
