So, you're wondering just how to get started finding out about your home's history? View the Your Old House worksheet (PDF) that will provide you with the resources to complete a house history. Make sure that you have the exact property address and your permanent parcel number handy. You can get the permanent parcel number from your deed or by contacting the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer at 216-443-7092.

It is also helpful to find your property's original parcel or lot number. This can be found on your deed, current permanent parcel number maps and historic plat maps, or by emailing the Planning Department at planning@clevelandheights.gov. Please include the address of the property you are researching, your name, phone number and mailing address in any message.
