The Cleveland Heights Law Department represents the City in all criminal prosecutions and civil litigation; acts as legal adviser and counsel to the Mayor, City Council and all City offices, employees, departments, boards and commissions; and prepares legislation at Council’s request.

Public Records Request
The City of Cleveland Heights is now utilizing NextRequest as a public records portal for the submission of all future public records requests. Currently outstanding requests have been uploaded and will be answered through the portal.
For all new requests, please create an account and submit your request by clicking the link below. You will receive a notification via email to view the status of your request. When your request is fulfilled, you will receive another notification to view and download all records. You can also submit any questions or concerns by messaging us through the portal.
