The City of Cleveland Heights subjects its financials to an independent audit each year with the State of Ohio Auditor’s Office. The City received an unqualified opinion on the most recent financial audit, which is the best opinion an entity can receive. In addition, the City has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officer’s Association (GFOA) on prior audit reports.
