Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Deer Management Survey

The Health and Public Safety Committee of City Council has been exploring approaches to managing our increasing deer population. Many of you may have noticed an increase in the number of deer in your neighborhoods and parks, or in your gardens, eating vegetation. Our neighboring suburbs have also experienced an increase in their deer population and are considering the best and most humane ways to address the issue.

Please complete the survey, linked below, so that our City officials can understand the best approach to deer management that is transparent and also reflects our shared values.

Cleveland Heights Parks Plan

The City of Cleveland Heights is working to enhance its parks, recreation facilities, and natural open spaces through a Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Master Plan. As we look to the future, we want to hear directly from you - how you use your parks and open spaces, what programs you value, and what improvements you'd like to see. Your input will help shape priorities for park upgrades, recreational programming, and long-term investments in natural open spaces across the community. Whether you visit daily or occasionally, your voice matters.
