2024 City Council Leadership Accomplishments

Established a working relationship and an evaluation process with Clerk of Council.
Established a working relationship with council members, the mayor, and the administration.
Organized and attended 4 neighborhood Q&A sessions with over 150 residents.
Established a new legislative process between city council and the law dept.
Established a new economic development process between council & the planning dept.
Established new deadlines giving council members more time to review materials before voting.
Created a new cover sheet that explains each piece of legislation in one short paragraph.
Played an important role in reshaping the TWG project on Noble, the Russo deal with Grocery Outlet, the Cedar-Lee DORA, and the 2025 budget.
Reviewed and passed over 275 pieces of legislation.
Began reviewing the Charter Review Commission’s recommendations.
Finished up all ARPA legislation.
Filled a vacancy on council when Janine Boyd resigned by appointing former School Board member Jim Posch.
Hired a CPA firm to review the City’s 2024 finances.
Passed a temporary budget after rejecting the mayor’s problematic 2025 budget.
