During the months of April and May (weekdays only), the Cleveland Heights Fire Division flushes fire hydrants throughout the city. As a consequence of the flushing, a great deal of sediment is raised. Be sure to check the cold water flow first to make sure it is clear during this period. If water is not clear, turn the water off and let the sediment settle.
