Gateway and Wayfinding Signage Plan

Gateway and Wayfinding Signage Plan (PDF)

The City of Cleveland Heights proposal for a Gateway and Wayfinding Plan  was selected as part of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission’s competitive Community Planning Grant Application.

The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, working in partnership with the City of Cleveland Heights, conducted a gateway and wayfinding study to accomplish the following goals:

  • to identify existing signage typologies, conditions, and locations within the community;
  • to outline best practices surrounding gateways and wayfinding; and
  • to showcase recommended locations and signage typologies that would have the largest impact on travelers through the City of Cleveland Heights.

This plan is a tool to carry forward public engagement and to apply future work with the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of new signage
